"Call It Stormy Monday (But Tuesday Is Just as Bad)" (commonly referred to as "Stormy Monday") is a song written and recorded by American blues electric guitar pioneer T-Bone Walker.  Born in 1910 in Linden, TX, Aaron Thibious Walker learned to play instruments at a young age. His mom called him T-Bow which evolved into his nickname T-Bone.  Stormy Monday was recorded in 1943 and T-Bones's biggest hit.  It is a slow twelve-bar blues  performed in the West Coast blues-style that features Walker's smooth, plaintive vocal and distinctive guitar work. As well as becoming a record chart hit in 1948, it was one of the most popular blues standards with numerous renditions. It is also found in the repertoires of many jazz, soul, pop, and rock performers.

Stormy Monday is a pale blue tonal with highlights of a dark moody blue, rust and brown.

Care of your hand knit garments
Please hand wash cold or lukewarm water and lay flat to dry. Even though this yarn does contain superwash merino, I do always recommend that you hand wash your knitwear. We use colorfast acid dyes for dying our yarn, and rinse until water runs clear. There may be a chance that some dye may bleed slightly in the first wash of your finished item. This does sometimes happen for speckled yarn and stubborn colors that are prone to bleed. For the first couple of washes, hand wash separately to be sure that no further bleeding.

There are no dye lots. We always try to sell from same dye lots but if not sure, we recommend blending the skeins as you work. Color saturation can differ from different dyelots.
