Painting Bricks Shawl by Stephen West

It is a splashy semi-circular shawl. Easy garter stitch is combined with stockinette stitch stripes and slipped stitches for an exciting new Westknits shawl project. Three skeins of the main color in DK are combined with contrast colors. You can add as many contrast colors as you like to paint the bricks with your leftover color pops.

The pattern features 8 CC’s and for DK 3 skeins of a MC. The most yardage you need for the CC’s used in the border is approximately 85yds / 78m each. The CC’s used earlier in the pattern that aren’t used in the border only require between 45 – 70yds / 41 – 64m each.
