Care of your hand knit garments
Please hand wash cold or lukewarm water and lay flat to dry. Even though this yarn does contain superwash merino, I do always recommend that you hand wash your knitwear. We use colorfast acid dyes for dying our yarn, and rinse until water runs clear. There may be a chance that some dye may bleed slightly in the first wash of your finished item. This does sometimes happen for speckled yarn and stubborn colors that are prone to bleed. For the first couple of washes, hand wash separately to be sure that no further bleeding.

There are no dye lots. We always try to sell from same dye lots but if not sure, we recommend blending the skeins as you work. Color saturation can differ from different dyelots.

Beautiful neutral yarn color

I have not used it yet but I am sure I will love knitting with it. Currently I am knitting socks with Texas wildflowers and the colors are beautiful. Yarn is soft and easy to use.

Absolutely fantastic yarn. The color is just barely off-white and is the perfect warm shade. A friend recommended this shop, and I am so glad she did. I originally bought eight skeins in the classic DK for three shawls I was making for family members. Thankfully there are no specific dye lots because I ended up needing to order more to finish up the last shawl (darn long tail cast ons eating all my yarn). I liked the color and quality of the yarn so much that instead of just one I bought four more skeins!

Such a gorgeous fiber! Can't wait to practice my color work!
